All You Need Ep — Listening party experience.

DJ Tunez & J.Anthoni. Nothing but a vibe. Based out of Brooklyn, Canarsie NYC by way of Jamaica and Nigeria. This collaboration is birthing another diaspora superstar. We first heard of J. Anthoni on “Differently.” A smooth, romantic Dancehall song with some colorful lyrics. Then we heard on his EP teaser “BOMB” with DJ. Tunez. When you put on J. Anthoni, every woman should feel like putting on their sexiest dress or outfit go out with their friends. Then give the wickedest whine possible and then carry on with the night; that’s what I would do, at least when it comes to J. Anthoni’s music.

So that’s what I did… kind of. I put on my cutest outfit suitable for the weather, of course, and went down to a listening party! The majority BT entertainment management group was there in full effect. It started calm, with a couple of afrobeat songs, some R&B and hip-hop in there. To top it off, there were themed drinks for the night as well. The vibe was perfectly set at the location, for what we were about to hear.

I see DJ Tunez come in confident as usual, with designer glasses and a varsity coat. Coming in with the BT crew. DJs are set for the night. As I scoped the event, I meant some DJs. All amazing people with good energies. All describing BT as more than just a label; it’s a family. So when it was time to meet the artist of the night, I knew it was going to be good. Before meeting J.Anthoni, I meant Queenie. Another amazing artist. Humble as ever, filled will the same love and joy I caught from the rest. Finally, I met J.Anthoni. He is a sweet, humble, and talented young artist. The first questioned I asked him was, “How old are you?” He said I’m not as young as I look. I asked, “Are you around my age?”…. 21. He said no … “I am 28.” Of course, I’m shocked because he does not look a day past 18.

After a couple of minutes, the listening party started. As soon as Tunez starts playing the song, the crowd goes up, and J.Anthoni starts performing. The chemistry between Tunez and Anthoni was electric. My favorite songs from the set are Bomb and Flossy wine! Flossy wine is currently the most popular track on apple music.

Listening to EP fully on my own, I was able to connect with the sound. All I could think about were the summer nights ahead of us, the amazing outfits, and the usual NYC summer antics. J.Anthoni lyrics are quite colorful. If you not careful, the brown and weed will have you performing to J.Anthoni. All in all, with my humble musical opinion, I feel like this EP was 10/10. It was produced well, the songs all have replay value, and it creates a vibe. When music can create vibes, it becomes timeless.
